Description
Something for my 'Edgy' section, and one of my favourite things to photograph.
Not for the reasons that non-artists think, and I get tired of explaining how a sexy image to a non-creative brain is a very different thing.
To be honest, I'm not sure how to properly get the point across that I'm photographing a beautiful woman with the intent of finding her best angles, creating shadows and mood, visualizing and creating themes and portraying her in the best positions and light, all the while making her feel confident and accepted and showing her just how amazing she is, despite all her inner voices.
That's a pretty good breakdown of the process. When we're no longer locked down and the chaos that is this pandemic is behind us, I'll be happy to fire up these sessions again and continue making people see themselves as better than our brain circus says we are.
