Part of a quick hike led us to this old retired bridge over the river, quite close to Hope, British Columbia.
There had been an incredible number of people who had thought to bring cans of paint and markers along...which seems odd to me.

How appropriate is your title..... A grand bridge built in an era gone, that respected Nature more than today. It may be "retired" but still serves well! Love the Black and White!
